2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
draught. Dark ruby-brown colour, thin head. Aroma of malts, yeast, some roast chocolate notes. Taste mirrors the aroma, but mouthfeel is thin and too bubbly. Ok.

3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
This ones a bite weird and a little diff from other dark ALES i had. Dark beers rule! This one is watery, heavy,I can notise the english hops after the watery part(but in a diff way)AND then some brown sugar ruffness with some chocolate in the taste. I do like this one but its a bit weird a little. Fire brewed old style

Sweet, malty, and easy to drink. Hops are present but donít translate into a strong bitterness. Very sessionable. I liked.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
341 mL bottle. Pours walnut with a thin beige cap. Nutty toffee on the nose, some grainy malt, but lacking. Taste is a little sweet, watery, slightly bitter on the finish. Light to moderate body and moderate to full carbonation. Leaves a lot to be desired.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught. Dark copper-brown with red tinge. Medium body with too much fizz. Caramel and blonde nuts.. very drinkable.. though slightly acrid in the swallow. On Tap at a steakhouse I used to eat in.. will never eat there again.. so no more of this for me either..

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ The Woolwich. Rather nice beer, amber colour with little head. Sweet caramel malty flavours with some decent hop bitterness on te finish. Oily is a good way to describe the mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Easy drinking, uncomplicated beer. Very little carbonation, slightly sweet hoppy and caramel flavour. Finishes with little or no taste. Will have it again.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
rating partially biased since I had this from a cask which I love. Aroma mild and the flavour was a little weak perhaps with some caramel and nuttiness. however the mouthfeel was very nice. Noy really one to savour so much but I actually enjoyed it overall. Probably would have gotten a lower rating had it not been cask conditioned
