This seemed like a bad ale to me not a Pilsener. Thin head. Malty, almost roasty aroma. Too sweet and lacking character.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 rudolf (2276) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 18, 2004
Thanks to Joey Capps. Not much of an aroma - some sweet cereal. Overy sweet and herbal. Reminds 40’s purchased from the corner store.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Crockett (960) - Steelback County, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2004
Pale straw and hazy. Tiny head. Minimal lemony wheat aroma. Mild yeasts and apricot. Minerals. Doesn’t look lagered. Some caramel in the finish. Bland.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2004
Clear gold. White head. Light, mildly biscuity aroma. Light, grainy feel. Sweet, biscuity flavour w/ notes of wet cardboard & grassy hops.

Tasty and refreshing. On tap at the Winking Judge in Hamilton, Ontario. Sparkling gold body accompanied by a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy. Flavour is sweet and more lagery than pilsnery. (Am I allowed to say lagery and pilserny?) Decent.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 shorlin (430) - St. John’s, Newfoundland, CANADA - OCT 29, 2003
This is a very ordinary beer in all respects. Very middle of the road aroma, some bits of sweetness. Palate is a little dry. Not exactly a good buy for me.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 CapFlu (4010) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 25, 2003
(Bottle) Medium, foamy, white head and a pale yellow body. Tiny sediment. Little carbonation. Nose of citrus, banana and spice. Nice texture, sweet corn and grassy flavour with bitter finish. Good.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JohnBarleycorn (537) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2003
A yellow, headless brew with sweet pilsner aromas of cereal, cut grass and malt. The thin and almost flavourless front and middle leads to a woody, bitter finish, and boasts refreshing qualities that bring to mind a mixed greens salad sans dressing. Light carbonation, coupled with a humid, hazy afternoon helps get this beer down in a hurry. The finish would turn off the swill-swilling masses, so you could haul a six-pack to the pool and feel confident in finishing what you’ve started.

Better than most of Canadian lagers. It looked decent with rich gold color. Tasted nice, medium body. Some good aftertaste
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 DukeofYork (44) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 21, 2003
Thin head, deep gold / copper twinge. Malty, aromatic hops nose (sweet-spicy). Sweet malty start, drying out with the same hops as the nose. Great mouthfeel. Citrus notes, banana (???). My favourite with Indian Curry.
