2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
I thought that this beer was mediocre at best. Obviously mainstream oriented. Faint hop bite to the body, but not a lot in the way of aroma or any kind of distinguishing characters. On par with something like Molson Export.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent pilsner. Very light and cloudy colored. Sharply crisp and dry. An earthy/floral hop mix with some lemony rind hints as well. Overall a good drinking brew.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ligh gold in color, white head and fine lace. Some malts noted at the start, some what sweet at the top and a bit of hops noticed at the fairly dry finish. Clean and fresh as a pilner should be, not bad for a non-dark beer, quite drinkable.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2003 Stonehammer has suffered a lot lately. At one time a credible German pils, this now has a lighter body, a lot less hop and less malt. All round, it is no longer a pilsner, let alone a good one.
