I thought that this beer was mediocre at best. Obviously mainstream oriented. Faint hop bite to the body, but not a lot in the way of aroma or any kind of distinguishing characters. On par with something like Molson Export.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Excellent pilsener. It’s great when someone local makes something good. Very golden in colour. Had a quickly dissipating head to it. Nothing major. A nice balanced beer that I would recomend.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2009 Not bad, nothing spectacular, but enjoyable. Nice hops, with a decent pils malt backbone. It’s nice on a warm summer evening. Actually quite crisp and delicious when fresh as in keeping with the style. Nice cereal grain quality to it on tap, though this at times almost comes off like cherrio’s. Still, in another world compared to anything macro. A very well-done semi-local brew that I could drink boat-loads of over the summer, and is never a bad choice on tap, especially at places with nothing better.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
341mL bottle. Pours a hazy golden straw colour with some moderate, sticky white head. Aroma is mostly fruity, apple juice, hints of malt and hops. Taste is very mild, some hops and a little sour. Body is so effervescent it disappears as soon as it is in my mouth. It’s just... gone. Overall, it’s like Labatt Blue if it were actually kind of good.
