3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Drank this one weekend at the cottage alongside JR Brickman’s Pilsener and this was by far superior. Very fruity floral hop aroma and flavor. A little on the sweet side keeping the finish from all it could be. Cheers!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
May 4 2012. Pours cloudy yellow with thin white soapy head which immediately dissolves to ring. Little lacing. Aroma is cereal, straw, hints of roasted malt or oats. Taste is primarily the same; cereal and straw with a nice hint of roasted grains in finish. No sweet or bitter aftertaste but good crisp mouthfeel with slight alcohol on moderate carbonated palate. Really just par pilsner but enjoyable.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Smells like a German Pilsner. Fairly strong hop aroma.
Pours a clear gold colour.
Tastes like a German Pilsner (very similar to Warsteiner). Hops is present, but in perfect balance.
Lots of carbonation. Goes down smooth with little aftertaste.
I was a little nervous to buy this beer. Overall I was very impressed. A good drinking beer, made with premium ingredients and produced locally. How can you go wrong?

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
5% Premium Pilsner. Pours a golden yellow. Thin white head. Aroma is nutty, sweet, cereal, wet cardboard. Taste, good mouthfeel coating, but unfortunately the cardboard continues, although previous cereal good biscuit remains. Overall not too bad. Might have waited too long to drink the bottle. I purchased the bottle at the brewery in October/11 and didn’t consume until late Jan.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Wooly in Guelph. Everyone else has described the appearance well. The aroma and taste are moderately malty, grassy and yeaty. Quite nice overall but nothing that really distinquishes it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thin head, deep gold / copper twinge. Malty, aromatic hops nose (sweet-spicy). Sweet malty start, drying out with the same hops as the nose. Great mouthfeel. Citrus notes, banana (???). My favourite with Indian Curry.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Solid pilsner. Great appearance but lacks the hoppy kick of a great pils. Would drink again but not seek it out

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours light golden in colour, with white head and little lacing. Aroma of malt and faint citrus. Taste somewhat sweet from malt, with very little bitterness from hops. Sweeter than expected for a pilsener. The aroma seems to be mostly from the malts. Medium carbonation, not an exceptional pilsener

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
It took me several tastings to really begin enjoying this pilsener. On tap, it often seemed a little too thin, of course, a pint glass is no vessel for a pilsener. Fresh samples from the bottle however made me appreciate the straight-forward single-malt character with cmoplementary bittering hops. The aroma seems to be mostly from the malts, but is pleasant - a little sweet and warm. The light golden colour, dense white head and medium carbonation are all right on for a traditional German pilsener.
