Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and floral with a crisp dry and slightly bitter malt finish.

(Cask at Angel, Manchester, 25 July 2009) Pale amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots and orange. Fruity taste with apricots, citrus and grainy malt. Rather light body, moderate bitterness. Hardly exciting, but decent enough.

Sour white grape aroma with some floral and grainy notes. Very nearly clear yellow under shaving cream. Weak base malt flavour with only detectable hops and a sweet and sour bitterness. Light body, low carbonation, grainy finish.

Pours clear golden, with a nice, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma is lightly spicy, some apple, piney hops. Low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly dry, bready sweet and a touch of piney hops. Okay.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted,light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]

Cask, house beer of the Angel Pub, Manchester, enjoyed there. Blonde. Soft medecinal and citrus aroma. Malty creamy flowery, slightly medecinal flavor. Malt and cookie dough. Decent.
