Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 21/05/2004 Clear golden colour hoppy with citrus flavour. Some bitterness in a dry lasting finish.

Cask, at Newark Beer Festival, May 2004. Notes recovered from a recently unearthed old notebook. Fairly pale gold in colour. Some peppery hops with a touch of citrus / grapefruit in the flavour. Fairly dry and reasonably bitter. A decent, refreshing beer but didn’t really grab my attention. Seemed a little underpowered.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Golden with a frozen white head. Solid light bitter aroma and flavour, nothing more nothing less.
