Commercial Description:
Cask, Occasional;
At 4.2% abv, Sunny Bitter is a mid strength beer with a rich amber colour and a delightful blend of satisfying malt and hop characteristics.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. An orange coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. The aroma is citrus hoppy with hints of orange fruits. The taste is fairly ordinary with hints of citrus but not as nice as the nose. Ok only

A Sim rate (cask at the Crown Inn): Sweet lemon, wheat and yeast aroma. Would never normally give a 4 for appearance to a beer of this colour, but it’s got an amazing head and lacing. Tart flavour of wheat and yeast. OK. Drinkable, but not great.

Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 23/06/2007 Hop aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and smooth on the palate. Slightly dry lasting malt finish.
