COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshing light beer with a good and filling flavor. Our original Lager has a light and spicy aftertaste, and a fresh soft bitterness.

Something undistinguished and dull lager beer that never really takes off. Average.

Tap@brewpub. As Vesterbro Blong lager. Yellow. Lagery aroma, sort of bulk- feel. Weak body, light, bland. Drinkable, but for a brewpub, really weak.

Tap at Steckers, as Vesterbro Blond Lager, 28/02/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head that retains well. Nose carries vanilla notes, pale malt, cup cake mix. Taste comprises bread dough, light spice, straw, vanilla, hint of caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Draught @ Streckers Copenhagen. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, slightly bitter, slightly some herbs. Low to average body and carbonation. Hmm not very good, but no flaws imo.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of hops with distinct flowery notes. Bitter, hoppy aroma with faint kotes of flowers. Watery mouthfeel. Nothing to write home about.

Tap at Love ahop concert in Tivoli. A friend of mine told he knew a place in Tivolibwith good beer. He was wrong. Færgekroens Golden is, oh yeah, golden. It has a frothy white head. This is the good part. The beer it self is toasted malty and very light hoppy. No bitterness to balance out the sweetness. So keen on pleasing, that it does the opposite - for me, at least.

Smaksrekke på Vesterbro Bryghus: denne var nummer en, og en forsiktig start - en lys og frisk blondine med litt frutkpreg (eple, pære), nesten ingen humlearoma eller -smak, lite bitterhet og noe maltsødme.

Draft at the brewpub, Copenhagen. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white foam head. Big sweet, doughy cereal malt aroma. Medium to heavy sweet flavor, with plenty of doughy malt character, mild white sugars, faint floral bitterness, biscuits. Medium bodied with average carbonation - pretty smooth. Sweet finish with some toasted straw, dough, biscuits, light floral hops. Nice and drinkable, but very basic.

Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Nose is somewhat buttery with some pale malt, bread, and a hint of apple ester sweetness. Mild yeast and hops. The flavor is also buttery and not terribly good. Mild malt sweetness with a lot of just generic grain flavor. A very faint hoppiness and no real bitterness. Not a very good beer.
