Draught at the place. Red brown colour. Big tan head. Sweet butter, caramel aroma and a sweet very butter like, caramel, chocolate taste. Medium body and a sweet butter finish. I tryed to tel them that there was something wrong with the beer, but they said it was ok, I didn´t drink any more, I don´t like fluit butter. Something was wrong, but since they made me pay, and said it was ok I´ll rate it bad.

On tap @ the brewpub in Copenhagen. This one is a clouded deep red-brown beer with a nice medium sized off-white head that sticks around for a while. The aroma has dark malts, sour brett-hints (or is it perhaps sour berries?) Continues with some spicy woody tones. Slick on the mouthfeel with a soft to average carbonation level. Also a sourness in the flavor here. Not directly sour or infected (or is it?) but I did not care for it to much. Sour gooseberries? Could that be it? Thin chocolate hints before it ends light dryish with a lasting aftertaste. Not to christmassy if you ask me, and definitely not something I will try again. 06.01.2012

Cloudy dark reddish brown colour with small off-white head. Sweetish malt and mild yeast in aroma. Malt, yeast and hints of bitterness in flavour. Boring.

On tap at Færgekroen. Lovely deep red beer with a small head. Spicy aroma. Sweet, a bit stale. Prunes, gingerbread, but an unpleasant sourness that turned me off. Some more tender loving care, and this would have been a decent brew.

Tap as Vesterbro Bryghus Julebryg. Brown&red with small beige head. Flavour i smalt, caramel, fruit, chocolate and hops.

Draught at Vesterbro Bryghus. Clear brown colour with a medium white head. Aroma and flavour of spice, roasted malt and caramel.

Clear mahogany with a rather large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and rye bread. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, rye bread, chocolate and grassy hops towards the finish. Not bad.

Draught. Unclear deep brown reddish colour. Aroma of mild roasty malt and caramel with some spice. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour has a mild bitterness with roasty malt, caramel, bit of dark fruit. Bit thin but the very best I have tasted from this brewery (breweries).

Draught at Vesterbro brewery.Dark brownish colour with medium white head,mild rosted aroma with note of licorice and burnt malt.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost black with a small, off-white head. A lot of diacetyl and vanilla in the aroma. Very sweet flavour with vanilla and toffee and some spicy notes from clove. Too sweet.

Draught at the brewpub. Black/brown color, small offwhite head. Malty toffee aroma, diacetyl, vanilla. Roasted malt flavor, spicy, toffee notes, some fruits.
