3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (10396) - Como, - APR 5, 2011
Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Cloudy dark amber color; generous creamy head. Nice aroma, spicy wheat, but also a lot of yeast. Good mouthfeel, quite full for a Weizen; some caramel flavor together with the wheat; spicy, not fruity, and the yeast presence is only moderate. Quite strong bitterness. Pleasant.

Dunkle kupferrote Farbe, ein honigartiger Geruch und sehr malziger Geschmack. Abgang jedenfalls honigartig und leicht bitter.
Ein Hefeweizen ist das sicherlich nicht, sondern ein belgisches Ale.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rand (820) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 20, 2011
Bottle 50 cl from Bierhütte in Biberist (CH). Coppery orange beer with fleeting head and champagne sparkling. Aromas of yeast, bread, clove and green banana. The taste is bitter sweet, with hints of citrus, almond and citric acidity. Fruity but herbaceous, it’s really particular and special.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 omhper (15959) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 9, 2011
Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy pale amber, mid-sized head. Bready banana aroma. Light-medium body with well rounded mouthfeel. Soft and bready with mild banana flavour, slight salty bitterness.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 13, 2010
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Phillip Sigg and Thomas Schneider. It pours a hazy orange beer with a medium sized head. A lot of cloves and banana throughout. Pretty good. Not a typical name for a Hefeweizen. But I am pretty sure the aim of the brewers was to brew this style.

from the brewery - cloudy dark orange colour with a little persistent beige foam; aroma of marzipan, dark fruits and corn; a solid carbonation and a decent malt body; tasty and with some tartness; the finish is fizzy with light notes of cloves and marzipan - very interesting
