33cl bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Switzerland. Lot# LG071
pours cloudy golden, thin fizzy, quickly disappearing head, almost effervescent.
aroma, yeasty, brown sugar and hints of hops, the addition of mélisse plant adds a nice lemongrass nose.
flavors, sweet and sugary, hints of hops that is subdued and flavor enhanced by the mélisse plant adding a nice extra citrus/lemon mouthfeel. Light note of bready malts to be noted.
The beer ends a little one dimensional and although I enjoy the brewery’s use of special plants, many of my last few bottles tend to keep an overly yeasty palate to the point of being a little hard to finish.
Good beer, but the yeast becomes way to present ampering most of the experience.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. Appearance: Murky orange with a quick diminishing head. Aroma: Musty with hints of cheese and chlorine. Flavor and palate: A huge amount of cheese and chlorine showing up. Extremely poor palate. No malt or hop profile whatsoever. Sweet and reminiscent of cheap rum. No bitterness. Slightly sour. Disgusting sweet finish with a hint of onion. Overall impression: Almost undrinkable. Thanks Bov!

Cloudy blond color, with a few floating particles. Very light malt aroma. There is too much carbonation, that along with a light astringent sourness, lets me think of a starting infection (LG035).
