bark (255), Linköping, Sweden Dec 13, 2004 Bottle. The colour is dark wine red with a tint of brown. The beige foam is quite low.

The fresh smell is malty with hints of rye (crisp) bread.

The carbonation is very fresh without being too sharp.

The taste is somewhat burned with lots of malt; it is very balanced. There are notes of dark bread and a hint of raisins. The aftertaste got a growing clean bitterness and a little touch of alcohol.

A Christmas beer that is very easy to drink without abandoning its character. Very refreshing. Boystout (824), Chisinau, Moldova Mar 2, 2003 Yes, it was very fine Christmas brew: sweet, bready, filled with caramel malts. Nice seasonal. Eructoblaster (1275), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Dec 21, 2004 Dark brown body topped with an average beige creamy head that unfortunately dinishes quickly. Interesting malty aroma with brown sugar hints. Taste is relatively complex and is not oversweetened. Flavors of malt and hops with light woody and roasty hints. nice bittersweet finish. Quite decent. Ingevara (468), Hindås, Sweden Sep 8, 2004 Tempting color, standard head. Some chrissmassy flavors but not enough. A little bitterness, could be sweeter. screwball (708), Motala, Sweden Jan 22, 2005 Dark amber colour and a off-white head. Rich aroma from malt. Bouth sweet aroma and taste. Not much carbon dioxide.
