Amber, not much head. Weak sweetish aroma. Flavor sweet, very sweet, too sweet. Turns into a bitter finish, really nothing special...

Good, dark beer with a pleasant body. Okay malt flavor with slightly sweet tones and slight bitterness.

Bottle 500 ml. A clear orange-brown colour with a beige head. An aroma of roasted malt, fruit, caramel and marzipan. The taste is medium sweet. A medium body, thin and oily texture, average carbonation and a medium long duration.

Bottle. Light sugary roast aroma. Chestnut, golden brown lacing cream. Lightish body, dry metallic mouthfeel. Roast, chocolate, dark sugar. Decent enough.

Bottle. Dark brown with a medium, brief white head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, some caramel notes of spices. Thin and quite boring to be honest. "Ok" for a 3,5% beer.

Reddish brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of malt, prunes, sweets, chocolate and weak caramel. A flavor of malt, caramel, chocolate and weak bitter. Weak in taste.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with some orange tinges. Fruity and slightly roasted aroma with notes of caramel, dried fruit and marzipan. Fruity and slightly sweet taste with notes of raisins, malt and fruitcake.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2012 Boks fra MaxiMat på Svinesund. Llysebrun farge på innholdet i boksen med ett greit hvit skum. Litt søtlig, men veldig tynn smak. Llite bitterhet. Ikke mye som minner om julesteming inni denne boksen. Fin på utsiden, det skal den ha!

Can. Dark brown with a white head. Nuts, grassy hops, caramel way in the background, some svagdricka, low bitterness, too sweet.

Dark reddish brown colour with average to big off-white head. Weak dark hoppy aroma with chocolate and hints of spices. Roasted malt, some hoppiness. Rather OK for 3.5% Julöl. Watery.
