Maria (4439), Thisted, Denmark Feb 2, 2008 A low-alcohol märzen, one could say, I look forward to tasting it. It’s golden and the head is nice and quite lasting. The aroma has sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, straw and hints of fruit. The same goes for the flavour, that isn’t very powerful, but still much more than expected. The finish has a light bitterness, slightly citrussy. Gr0ve (1117), Oslo, Norway Jan 14, 2008 500 ml bottle. Amber colour. Crystal clear. Light white fluffy merengue head. Crisp and sharp metallic hop aroma. Light maltiness and a crisp light hop flavour. Little malts to be found except a little grainy flavours. For the most part this beer is very light and watery. Sharp hop bitterness towards the finish. The bitterness lingers a long time. HenrikSoegaard (3175), Randers, Denmark Dec 30, 2007 Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Heavy malty moderate hopy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Oily palate. I didnt knoe when tasting thatt it was only 3.5 ABV, so actually its a nice beer considering. Best 3.5 so far.... turbothy (619), Nørrebronx, Denmark Nov 27, 2007 ½l can.
Points for Bavarian checkered can. A fairly decent folköl, not as watered down as is often seen.
