2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2007
Clear copper with a filmy off-white head. Aroma is slightly grainy, bit of alcohol and sugary sweetness. Massive carbonation hides a lot of the flavours, but some decent toasty notes and winey alcohol come through. Perhaps if you could imagine a swedish 7.2% lager mixed 70/30 with a splendid toasty marzen you could picture this beer quite well. Alcohol comes through like a steam train in the finish, which is wierd considering its only 5.9%. One of the more interesting falcons.
