It’s mahogany red with a creamy, golden head. The aroma has strong notes of cardamom and other spices connected to Christmas, but cardamom is very strong in the sweet flavor too, I do find hints of clove and malt - but the cardamom is way too dominating. If you LOVE cardamom - this is for you (not me ;)

Bottled 500ml. -Darker amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, some sort of spices and alpine herbs in the nose. The taste is totally owned by the spices and probably cardamom (if I’m correct I’ve never tried it) with slightly watery finish. Interesting but not my choice.

Jag vet inte riktigt om jag vill klassa det här som en typ av öl, men i och med att den finns med här så får jag väl sälla mig till mängden. Det här var en ganska kul och mustig sak med mycket krydda (nejlika) och även lite för mycket kolsyra.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and heavy spicy - cardamom. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Some brewers just don’t realize, that spices are supposed to be just that: Spices that add a little extra touch and not to the extent that it completely dominates the brew. This is just liquid cardamom. 131212

@ Tiddes Bar. Pours clear light mahogany with a small beige head leaving lace. Aroma is very sweet and spicy, cardamon, cinnamon malty. Flavor much similar as aroma some bitterness but darn so f...ing over spiced. Finishes spicy sweet and malty.

500 ml bottle. Aroma FULL of cardamom, clove and som other chistmas spices. Taste much like the aroma; loads of cardamom and other spices, nearly no malt. Very little bitterness. Not good when a beer was expected...

Aroma: The smell is very sweet and full of cardamom, some dried fruits like raisins and dates.
Appearance: The color of the beer is dark brown , pours with a off-white compact foam that leaves residues in the glass.
Taste: The taste follows the smell very much, extremely sweet, tons of cardamom and some malty tones. Very little bitterness.
Palate: It behaves more like a soda, tingly and sweet.
Overall: If you’re looking for a traditional Swedish Christmas beer this is far too sweet for most food, however at it’s own as a sweet dessert it’s quite good. Especially for a cardamom junkie like me ...

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a clear brown colour with just a small light beige head. The aroma is overpowered with sweet cardamom with some spices and hint of coca cola. In the mouth the beer feels like a sweet soup of sweet malt and cardamom with an addition of root beer. Thick and sticky mouthfeel. No doubt it’s tasteful and aromtic but awfully sweet and unpleasant.
