Pours a wonderful deep red-brown that turns to a playfuly ruby red when held against the light. A medium-sized lightly tanned head settles to a a thin foam layer, leaving some lacings. Now, the aroma is something you wouldn’t expect from a beer. It’s like smelling the dough of ginger bread cookies, spiked with a ton of cardamom. Taste is a mix of that dough, spices and hearty caramel. It is VERY sweet, but I think the sweetness plays well with the other flavours. I really like this, but I’m a sucker for ginger bread dough too. Coming in a 500 ml bottle, it can get too sweet in the long run so you might want to share it.

A red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is totally dominated by cardemomme. The flavor is sweet and very spicy, with cardomomme being most dominant.

Bottled. Vedry dark amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma very strong cardamom, which pretty much covers it all. Flavour is Cardamom, with maybe some cloves in it. Ginger bisquits (pepparkaka in swedish) is very describing. Extremely nice Christmas beer, though I am not sure if this can be called beer. What the hell, it’s Falcon, and the best I have had from them so far .) Cardamom and caramel in aftertaste. I loved this .) Superb Xmas season thing!

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2007 (50 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear dark red color, tan head. Ginger bread with pommerance and cinnamon bread scent. Cardamom and cloves. Taste like it smells, though with some alcohol. Long sweet malty and cardamom aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel and low bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Clear. Dark reddish brown. Strong smell from cardamom. Mmm, Christmas. This a beer, yes beer, with a lot of spices in it. It is surprisingly drinkable, with cardamom clearly being the dominant spice. Sweet body, with some dryness from the spices. Excellent with Christmas fare.
