Bottle. Clear deep ambercolour. Explosive spiced aroma. Lots of and lots of spices, mainly cardemomme and cinnamon, in the flavour along with roasty caramel and some dark fruit. Long lasting sweet spiced finish. Too much spice.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a clear brown colour with just a small light beige head. The aroma is overpowered with sweet cardamom with some spices and hint of coca cola. In the mouth the beer feels like a sweet soup of sweet malt and cardamom with an addition of root beer. Thick and sticky mouthfeel. No doubt it’s tasteful and aromtic but awfully sweet and unpleasant.

Dark brown colour with a beige head. Strong cardamom aroma. Flavour is also strong with cardamom.

Bottle, shared with Foffern and Erlend; thanks man! :-) Pours a deep amber-brown body with a small, off-white head. Nose is intensely sweet and spicy, with heavy clouds of cardamom bellowing through the front lines, flanked by equally intense sweet malt-candy-like tones. Whoh; I brace my taste buds for impact before taking the first sip. Sure enough, a thick carpet of spiced-up sweetness rolls across the tongue; cardamom being the main perpetrator again. DAMN, this is one of the most sickening sweet beers I’ve had! No hop balance, no modesty, just blatant malt sugar onslaught, further propelled by massive amounts of sweet Christmas spices. I manage a couple of sips more, just to confirm my dreadful notion that this is pretty much what the brew has to offer. Affirmative. Stay away - unless you really, really work on getting that diabetes diagnosis you’ve been wanting for you doctor to confirm. :-P

Bottle 50cl. A clear dark amber colour with a medium high, creamy, good lacing, off-white head. An aroma of caramel and cardamom. The taste is medium sweet and light bitter. A medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation and a medium long duration.

Very sweet with Christmas spices, especially cardamom, also some kind of alcohol.

500 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on December 23. Pours clear amber with a small white head that quickly dissipates. Smell is almost all cardamom but there’s also some ginger, bread and caramel. Taste is very sweet with lots of cardamom and some butterscotch. Finish is slightly sweet and spicy. Tastes like liquid cinnamon bun dough. Way too sweet.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Very nice mumma for such a big brewery. Lots of cardamom and sweetness. The perfect compaion to the christmas feast.

Overload of spices. Stings in my nose and tastes terrible. No traces of malt nor hops can be detected under the vile amounts of cardamom. Next to undrinkable.
