bottle, mit dank an Julian!!! Deep golden, nearly amber colour with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of honey. Maltyx with lots of honey flavours (Tannenhonig - fir tree honey), as well as shy hints of nuts and quite a lot of herbs (Ricola?!). A very interesting and good beer. I really enjoyed it!

Bügelverschlußflasche (Vielen Dank, Julian!): Hazy, amber coloured, lots of floaties visible, medium-sized, slowly collapsing off-white head; distinctive (linden-) honeyish nose with malt and hops underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, perhaps a bit light bodied; lingering distinctive hoppy and honeyish-malty finish. Fine swiss brew........

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, murky amber to chestnut-brown coloured hue with lots of floaties and a mid-sized off-white foamy head.Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with distinctively strong notes of Linden-honey, accompanied by shades of toffee. Surprisingly light-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slightly toasted malty and honey-fruity taste with floral notes; almost dry honey-ish and slightly toasted finish. Not very complex but pretty aromatic brew. 16.XI.09

Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful amber colored beer with a decent head. Aroma: Lovely aroma of honey, burnt caramel, walnut, vanilla, oak and brown sugar- surprisingly good! Flavor and palate: A lot of great honey showing up in the taste. Hints of lavender sneaking in. Extremely smooth. Low carbonation and bitterness. Flawless malt profile. Perfectly balanced. Residual sugars in the finish where caramel notes dominate. (Slight lavender appearing). Overall impression: A huge surprise. Deeply pleasant- like a liquid baklava. Wow!

Bottled. Amber colured with rich head. Sweet and rich in caramel malt. Nutty with notes of toffee, velvetty soft and unearthly mild. Very enjoyable. bbrock81, just what did you drink?

Not good. Not good at all. This is a total waste of your time and money. Get real beer instead, for crying out loud!

amber colour, few head, medium honey aroma, sweet, slightly tart, fresh with caramel notes - easy but very drinkable
