Dogbrick (4842) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 23, 2011
On draught at Brasserie Fédéral in Zürich. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily. The nose is lightly roasty with notes of malt and fruit. Light body with flavors of toasted malt, slightly sour fruit and nuts. The finish is short and malty. Average all around.

A good and different beer. More sour than I had expected, but obviously without reaching the levels of Flemish browns. Nice and typical aftertaste.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2011
Mildes Schwarzbier ohne sortentypische Aromen. 9/5/5/6/8/5

Dorqui (1552) - Brescia, ITALY - MAR 20, 2011
Draught at "Zeughauskeller Restaurant" - Zurich.
Nice dark brown color, little deep with a dense and resistant head. Bitterish and priclky nose, notes of roast malt and cereals. Good body, bright and pleasant final. Moderate alcoholic perception.

Keg (Brasserie Federale, Zurich)
Sour off aroma. Dark, small head. A touch vegetal, and some treacle, in the mouth. DMS, boiled cabbage in the taste. Burnt cabbage, in fact - yay! Finish a touch sweet. Not sure this has much potential espite the colour.

Bottled: Brown foamy head. Fruity, light sourly aroma and flavor. Quite sourly short end with some grain. Weak.

Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 26, 2008
Bottled 50cl. Sampled at Brasserie Federal, Zürich. It pours a dark ruby beer with a small white head. The nose is nicely roasted with notes of pear, caramel and banana. Acidic unfortunately. Citrussy with a hint of licorice. The taste is malty, sweet accompanied by banana, pear, light roasted malt and caramel. Soft mouthfeel. Not all that pleasant. Acidic and metallic. Yeasty finish with a hint of coffee.

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2007
bottle. Dark colour, large head. Malty nose, which somehow reminds me of Leffe bruin. Malty and grainy, hints of roasted malts and caramel.
