COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
TURN. Das Hanfbier von Falken. Aus Schaffhausen. Bier ist ein traditionelles Getränk – natürlich, erfrischend und handwerklich gebraut. Hanf ist der Rohstoff mit Perspektiven – aromatisch, vielseitig ... und kontrovers. Das TURN. verbindet Tradition und Perspektiven. Auf der Basis von Wasser, Malz, Hopfen und Hefe entstand im speziellen Brauverfahren dieser völlig neue Trunk. Der besondere Dreh dabei ist die Zugabe von aromatischen Hanfblüten – selbstverständlich der legalen Variante mit einem sehr tiefen THC-Gehalt.. Hanf ist botanisch mit Hopfen verwandt und gibt dem TURN. durch seine Blüten dessen unverwechselbaren Charakter. Das TURN. ist ein Bier, welches ausschliesslich aus natürlichen Rohstoffen gebraut ist. Vom Biertyp her ist TURN. einem Pilsner nicht unähnlich, hat eine goldene Farbe und weist einen Alkoholgehalt von 4,9 % auf. In der eleganten Long Neck Flasche (Einweg) mit 33 cl Inhalt bietet Falken das TURN. im praktischen und originell gestylten 8-er Karton an. Übrigens: Falken braut das TURN. in enger Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Erfinder, einem Berliner Brauer, welcher die Brauerei Falken in einem strengen Auswahlverfahren als Partner gewählt hat. TURN. gibt es in den Falken Getränkemärkten und weiteren Getränkeverkaufsstellen. Dieser neue Biertyp steht ganz in der Tradition von Falken aus Schaffhausen: Gutes erhalten. Neues entdecken.

Wässriger und gleich trockener Getreideantrunk, der etwas modrig daherkommt. Die Getreidigkeit kann sich steigern, was aber nichts am muffigen Grundaroma ändert. Später wird das Bier dezent bitter, eher halbherzig. Etwas grasig, zunehmend trockener. Zum Ende weicher, zum Abschluss deutlich herber. Keinesfalls gut. 6/7/7/8/9/7

Bottle. Golden, small white head. Malty aroma with hints of herbs. Flavour is malt, herb and slight spiciness. Light bodied, not much bitterness. Not as bad as it could have been.

Clear golden, from botella. Aroma is grassy and herby. Ok mouthfeel. Grassy dry bit malty flavour, grain. At the time I had it all was so fine and this brew came by good.

Bottle @ Haus der 100 Biere, Berlin. Grassy aroma, clear golden colour with big head. Flavour of hops & marijuana. Lingering unpleasant hemp aftertaste. Slightly sickly gimmicky beer.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sugar, spicy - hemp. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, hemp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090321]

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Dry malty to slight cornish with a distinct grassy aroma. Mild caramelish and light hemp sweetness. Light malty and hoppy bitter finish.

The aroma reminds me of apple juice and urine. Soapy taste. Not much hemp showing up. Mediocre. Very low bitterness. I usually like hemp beers but this one is really poor.
