Falkenfelser Hell Premium (Urig-wurzig)
.5L bottle dated best by 2 Jan. 2013. Purchased and consumed in Bavaria in august 2012.
Aroma of sweet light grains with limited hops. The flavor has a nice sweet/bitter balance, with most of the sweetness up front and a lasting mild bitterness coming through in the finish and aftertaste. Hop/malt balance is quite good too even though the aroma suggested this Helles might be under-hopped. Creamy smooth; light-medium body without being watery. Perfect carbonation.
O: to my surprise, this compared nicely to an Andecher Hell I had on tap at their Braustuberi earlier the same day. Mouthfeel and finish are particularly strong.

Postupně sem budu doplňopvat piva, co jsem vypil a zapsal si, chvilku to asi bude trvat a proto k těm dříve vypitým pivům nebudou žádné "dojmy" .

Aroma is grassy hops and grainy malts. The flavor is malts and beery hops.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of malt, bread and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of perfumed hay, malt and light fruit.

(Flasche in Glas)Optisch gibt es nichts auszusetzen, ein klar filtriertes goldgelbes Bier mit einer weißen Schaumkrone und leicht malzigem Aroma mit einer leicht würzigen fast DMSigen Note. Im Geschmack bestätigt sich dann der DMS Verdacht, der von einer leichten Vollmundigkeit akzeptabel gemacht wird. Im ganzen werd ich das Bier nicht wegkippen, aber nicht nochmal kaufen.

Another netto brand. This beer isn’t terrible, just a mediocre helles bier with a n okay balance of hops and malt.

Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Clear golden, rich creamy head. Fruity nose with slight notes of boiled vegetables. Mid sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Salty and fruity, mild salty bitterness. OK helles.

Clear light medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair to good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20101108]

Bottled 500ml. -Pale yellow coloured, medium sized white head that went away fast, dusty grainy nose. Malty, slight hoppy and dry herbal taste with short dusty bitter finish. There’s much more interesting and better helles than this one.

500 ML bottle in Germany. Clear golder color with a small white head that runs away very fast. Nose is a mix of hops, grass and malt. Taste is weak grassy, and slightly bitter for a true Helles. Palate is not as bad but still not true to form for a Helles. % content is also low for this Helles. Overall very drinkable but and average for this type of beer.
