1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 HarryFlashman (469) - Chatham, - JUN 23, 2008
I thought this was pretty disgusting - very sweet (too sweet), flat and very thin - had the appearance of dishwater (and the taste). This reminds me of the sort of shit served up by microbrewers like Nelson in Chatham

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 madmitch76 (6193) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2011
10th January 2008 Amber - red ale. Lively beer with plenty of zing! The honey is subtle but adds sweetness. Sharp gritty dry finish irritates.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 15, 2010
Bottle.
A - Red with a brown hue. Smaller than average head, with slight head retention.
S - Lots of tea, honey, and tangy fruit smells.
T - Follows the scent pretty close. Loads of tea flavors and bitterness. Also has a fair amount of honey in there. Tangy fruity flavors, kind of apple and citrus like. Mild malts and hops, but neither are over powering.
M - Medium to light bodied, and somewhat smooth. More watery than anything else. Has a slight drying finish.
D - The taste is alright and inoffensive. If you are in the mood for something tea-like, it would definitely fit the bill.
Notes: Was an alright beer, not overly flavorful but a nice mild beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 31, 2007
500ml bottle from Middle Farm, East Sussex. Brown, small head. Aroma of malt with a hint of fruit. Swee taste but a bit of bitter balance too. Palate and finish ok. Better than many of Fallen Angel’s other beers.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2007
Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BB Dec07). Fruity malts and toffee. Enough hop finish to keep it drinkable. Yeast interferes with the balance slightly but not in full on homebrew style.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2005
500ml bottle from brewery. Amber/red colour with thin off white head. Peppery hop and darkish malts and some choc/dark fruit flavours. Tingly hop finish. Quite good dark red beer with interesting hops and malt. Could do with a bit more depth
