COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A super refreshing beer, loosely in the style of a Bavarian wheat beer. Try a bottle ice cold, mit hefe (with yeast) by rolling the bottle gently on its side to disturb the yeast just before pouring. Serve with a wedge of lemon on the glass rim and a hearty "Prosit!"

Bottle. Sweet lemon, musty coriander/clove, and wheat malt. Hazy golden yellow color with small head. Sweet-tart lemon, musty coriander and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very good - much more like a Belgian witbier though.

Very crisp and tart wheat beer with a distinct lemon edge. Just a very subtle hint of orange. Refreshing. Good summer beer.

Bottle. Bright cloudy yellow beer with a very strong white head. The aroma is citric/bitter and lemon, and the flavour is sour and bitter citrus. Overall a reasonable weissbier.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a cloudy deep yellowy gold colour with a large white head. Aroma very lemony; I threw a slice of lemon in to the glass, but am not sure it was even necessary such was the potency of the lemon, which smothers all aspect of this beer. ’Hooch’ even started to permeate my thinking on this one! Nonetheless, i did quite enjoy this and have had far worse german weissbiers in the past.

500ml bottle from Middle Farm, East Sussex. Pours a hazy gold with a huge head and a strong lemon aroma. Slightly sour and the lemon dominates the flavour. Good body, but slightly soapy as Ian mentioned. Overall, too one dimensional for my liking.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden beer with thickish white head. Lemon/yeast aroma. Slightly sour in the mouth and a touch soapy too. Yeast adds body and complexity. Lemon finish with some nuttiness. Pleasant attempt at a german wheat beer.
