Bottle. The usual story from this brewery. Cloudy with a dominant sulphuric taste. Bitterness dominates and lingers for a long time. Too acidic and far too bitter for my taste.

Bottle picked this up from the Cowley Road, Oxford 08-02-08 Mid amber pour with quite a sourness on the nose it’s quite strange actually a bit like sherbert? Good clarity initially but when I poured the rest of the bottle in it turned quite murky. Almost apple like flavours at times, sourness comes through again, not sure about this.

500ml bottle from Middle Farm, East Sussex. Drunk Sept 07. Aroma is floral and hoppy with alcohol showing through. Hazy amber appearance with vigorous carbonation. Hoppy with evident alcohol. Lively mouthfeel with alcoholic warmth. Better than most of FA’s output but very unsubtle!

Bottle. Hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are carmel and lemon with some earthy notes. Some spices. Flavours are caramel and spiced oranges with some sourness and peppery notes. Kit homebrew tainted.
