COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled; Regular. Has also been available on cask.

The village of Kippen, nestled at the foot of the Gargunnock and Fintry hills was once home to the largest Grapevine in the world covering an area of 5000 square feet.
This pale ale has an almost vinous flavour and aroma, provided by the choicest New Zealand hops. Seriously fruity, floral and citrus, this beer showcases the best qualities of two stunning NZ hops.
Dominant flavours: Floral, citrus, tropical, fruity, bitter. Grapevine tastes great on its own or with Indian curries, spicy pizzas or chorizo. Serve at 4C for a refreshing tropical citrus hit or at 12C for a fuller bodied, fuller flavoured experience. No additives, no adjuncts; just four top quality, natural ingredients: Malt, Hops, Yeast and Water.

Specifications:
Malts: Maris Otter, Vienna
Hops: Magnum, NZ Cascade, Motueka
IBU: 43
OG: 1.054

Note: Until April 2014, contract brewed at Tryst.

Clear, lively golden ale. In the aroma the fruit is slightly more dominant than the hope. There are flavours of hopes and fruit but it’s quite a floral beer on the whole. Balanced very nicely and very drinkable.

Cloudy, golden with a big white head. Aroma of peach, citrus, flora hops. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish, really well balanced. Oily texture, medium carbonation, silky. Really nice beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy Amber with a white head. Lightly yeasty bready aroma with light mango, pineapple. Medium body, medium carbonation. Light rye bread toast, pine, light marmalade, orange, light grapefruit... Nice balance. Liked this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Ellies Cellar. (£3.59) Tried this right after Fallen's Sleeper Pils. Weirdly enough, this - a "New World Pale" - has a similar taste profile. This is better than the dull tasting Pils, more body and flavour. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask, Ale House Chelmsford, 26th March 2015. Copper-bronze appearence. White head. Some hop resin, bitterness is moderate. Tutti fruity. Good assertive hop kick. Good use of malt. Clean. Juicy. Good.

On cask at the Southern. Appearance - cloudy orange with a nice head. Nose - bitter orange. Maybe apricot. Taste - yep apricots again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Lovely mouthfeel. Overall - single dimensional but great single dimension.

Cask. Dark amber and a thick white head. Nose of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is tropical fruits, pineapple, lots of mango, and a nice malt base making it slightly sweet and the taste lingers in a good way without outstaying its welcome.

Very hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a light minerally crispness. Light pale malts, trace of thin malt cream sweetness. Mild orange hops and dry floral bitterness. Dry finish. Mellow orange bitter linger. There is a dusty feel running throughout. Not bad but not very clean on the palate.

Cask at southern. Pithy grapefruit leading into a tropical juice flavour. Decent but would possibly suit keg better.
