Cask Conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’08 in company of Hughie & Maeib. Black with cream head. Immediate roasted husk coffee notes, quite drying and clean, then followed by plummy fruit. Remains quite bitter throughout, a really good start to the Festival for me.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Nottingham BF. A black beer with a bit of a vegetable note in the nose. Some fruity petrol notes also. reasonable enough but that vegetable is a worry.
