esjaygee (918), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Nov 29, 2008 Gusher. Amber with a large slowly dissipating tan frothy head. Aroma of malt, grain, must and caramel. Taste is sour and astringent with pale malts and dust to help "balance" it out. Best thing about this beer was cracking the top 10 in the ESPN streak for the cash at 17 wins. muzzlehatch (4429), Burlington, USA Oct 30, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased, hmmm, summer 2007 perhaps? somewhere in Packerland....sampled from a Coors Banquet glass rather cold. Huge head gushes forth, filling 5/6 of the tapered glass, falling quickly leaving little trace of its presence, and revealing a very clear whisky-gold body....the nose is faintly bready/grassy, with a touch of butterscotch, possibly diacetyl but not strong enough to really impact the dull but acceptable aroma....body is alas terribly watery, somewhat acidic/cidery, a bit like a mix of old 7-Up and aged cola in a 70-30 ratio, rather flat and oxidized. I had one other beer from these guys earlier this year (perhaps to be rated here someday) that was vastly better, though still nothing amazing; can’t say this brewery seemed likely to last, based on all the marks it’s gotten. Nice labels though! phishpond417 (1521), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Apr 24, 2008 Tasted a lot better back in the day with more unappealing label. Pours a light copper colour , little head, evidence of soft citrusy hops, but not overly prevalent. lighter, slightly watered down. and dissapointing to say the least. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Jan 7, 2008 I am rating this higher than it deserves, mostly because of the label. Metallic and citrus acidity takes over before the bottle’s gone. Cornfield (4412), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Nov 6, 2007 Looks fine, a clear copper body with a modest off-white head. The aroma is stale malt with an off sourness and some lemon zest. All continues through the flavor all the way to its odd metallic finish. No more, thank you.

Three Cellars, Franklin, WI
