Cask at Babington Arms, Derby. Another solid performer, clear copper/brown, scant head, balanced fruit and gentle malts, nice stuff.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2005 Cask conditioned & on hand Pump from The Bishops Blaize n Derby on Sat 29th Jan. I’d had a few to many by this point. But it’s one of the few places that do real ale after 11 so we gave it a go. Mid / darkish brown colour. Pretty solid stuff, nice & dry with some maltyness in there too
