COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A mild for May. Rich ruby hues with a complex, slightly medicinal nose. Mouthfilling caramel and malt flavours and a slightly tart fruity finish.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Very dark black, with receding cream top. Fruity, vinuous start, bleeding into licorice, a bit of xmas pud and Belge brune strength. The power really comes through in a sultana blast. Probably quite good as a UK strong ale. Not something I go for, generally; but retains it’s dignity.

On cask at Congress Inn, Longton. A mild ale at 6.5%! I have to say this is the best mild I’ve tasted in a long time. A smooth finish with sweet aftertones. Excellent!
