This was one bad beer. Another cheaply made American lager. They finally put it out of its misery in June05. I have no idea what it looked like, because this was drunk only from the can. If its like most pale lagers, it looked suspiciously like urine, only colder. If you never tried it, consider yourself blessed.

this was not very good beer at all. though it did have a decent golden color. and it was foamy enough. seems years ago that was the gimmick that kept us coming back, the nice robust burn of carbonation set the pattern for that ability to sense that weak and sweet malt and corny sweet with touch o’ hop character. that and that beer was pretty cheap.

Actually for a mass produced beer Falstaff, wasn’t that bad. I did’nt have this one for years, and did’nt know they had gone out of bussiness. The aroma was ok average appearance, enough flavor to satisfy, and ok on the palate. Most certianly it was eons better then Budwiesers offerings. If I had my druthers, I would druther have had Falstaff stay in bussiness and Bud close down

I liked this beer tho I can’t get it anymore. Was a bit weak but still had one of the strongest flavors of the now watered down beers since their purchase from "The Big Guys". I wish I had been drinking this prior to the buyout. I bet it was what I like in a beer.

Thank goodness someone had the self respect to discontinue this beer. I ralphed one night after drinking this. It was not pleasant. Ralphing, in general, isn’t a pleasant experience, but this seemed worse for some reason. The fact that I can remember this from almost 20 years ago stands behind my statement.

(12oz can. 04/2006). Yup. Found one in back of the fridge (found a couple, actually). Not the world’s worst brew, an icon that it is sad to see disappear. Alas, a little corny on the nose with almost no body. A light straw color and quite watery. Very smooth and approaching refreshing.

12 oz. can. I can’t believe I still had one of these rolling around. The Falstaff brand is one of the larger groups in my beer can collection. I’m sorry to see Falstaff is gone. I hate seeing these regional brewers disappear. The beer itself is not very good. RIP.

"Last Chance for Falstaff" at the local watering hole. Nothing to note here. It tasted like the can with a hint of pasta. No hops, no real malt flavors, didn’t get any visuals since I drank it straight out of the can. My real reason for drinking it was to add the can to my collection.
