from the fridge at kmp in pilsen. pale golden, expected a little darker from an oktoberfest beer; some vanilla and hay in the nose; hints of dried stonefruits, sweet, touch of tinny bitterness; unpleasant by the end of the glass

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a dense medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet strawy malty aroma with a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately sweet and shy bitter flavour, medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Pale and strawy malt-character with slightly grainy notes; medium-dry, sweet and faintly bitter hoppy finish. Clean but also a tad boring Festbier. 14.VIII.10

Bottle: Golden, medium-sized foamy layer; grainy-malty nose with a honeyish tinge; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium-bodied; sweetish-grainy finish, some hops detectable; quite uniforme stuff, but quite well drinkable, nevertheless.....
