It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, bread and grain. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, bread and the finish is dry and slightly bitter. It’s refreshing with a nice balance.

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma with light grassy hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetness, light grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and dryish, some grassy hoppyness. OK dryish pils - decent bitterness in the finish for German pils.

Bottle by 23.07.12. Nose is loaded with big, sunshiny citrus. Very pale yellow-golden body with a sudsy white head. Light bitterness, hard and crisp; light sweetness, some floral notes and a gentle cleansing effect; in general, a juicy, if low-quality, hop-malt balance is struck. Light body with slightly fizzy carbonation. A but more of a Kinderpils, but by no means bad.

Bottled(330ml). -as Falter’s Privat-Pils, courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!).
Pale golden/yellow coloured, medium sized white head, dusty light grainy nose. Malty, lemony hoppy and light honeyish taste with notes of maize in rather bitter finish.

I got this, with a radler, at the gas station across the street from the store we got most German beers at. Cute 0.33l bottle. Poured a lightly pale golden with a very thick medium sized white head that went away at a medium pace. Very lively carbonation, almost fizzy. Dusty malty nose. The dry, light taste is based on some interesting honeyish and fruity malt, mixing with dusty lemony hopiness. How many times have I said something similar... ah well. It’s subtle and interesting though, with a fine hop-malt interplay, but nothing all that special even if turned out to be quite enjoyable and likable in the end. As the others have said, it could really use more body to shine.
