Bottle: Clear, deep amber coloured, small to mid-sized fluffy tanned head; relatively dry dark-malty, fruity and hoppy nose; moderate clean dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, absolutely not sticky; lingering dry caramalty and bitter finish, presenting traces of chocolate, rounded by some shy sweet dark malt. Unusual dry and bitter Doppelbock, nevertheless well drinkable......

Aroma is sweet with lots of malt and hints of solvent‐like alcohol. Flavour has malt, solvent and hints of berries. Drinkable, although the alcoholic savours are rather strong.

Pours clear amber color with no head. Aroma of caramel malts, mild toffee, bread, nutty notes and ripe fruits. Flavor of caramel malts, toffee, nuts, flour, bread, ripe fruits and some syrup. A bit sweet palate with a sweetish fruity finish.

Bottled 33cl. Clear amber with a small head. Interesting nose with malt, caramel, plums, hops, raisins and pumpernickel showing up. Faint marmite sneaking in. Good bitterness. Nice hop profile. Balanced. Low carbonation. Smooth. Caramel and grassy hops in the finish which is slightly reminiscent of marmite.

Bottle. dark brown color. caramel and a hint of chocolate in the bready aroma. Full bodied, very malty. Sweetish, roast, hint of licorice. caramel. Bready. Hint of alcohol. Good doppelbock.

Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, caramelized brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, bread, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Schwach malzig-schokoladiger Geruch. Start süßlich-malzig, weich. Mitte schokoladenmalzig, leicht röstig. Abgang röstmalzig und etwas alkoholisch nachbrennend. Ansprechend.

Bottle. Amber, short and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and caramel sweetish aroma, some fruitiness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness,light bread, some alcohol. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light bread, faint hoppyness and alcohol. Sweetish doppelbock – nothing special.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Copper with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of caramel, raisin and vanilla. Sweet toffee and bready flavour with dried fruit overtones. Pretty good balance

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours dark ruby nrown with bubbles on top. Dark fruit, caramel, rye and nuts. A bit of alcohol warmth. Chewy malty. Medium bodied.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit and nutty. Flavour is malt, sweet, caramel, toffee and nutty.
