3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 oh6gdx (18576) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2007
Bottled (Thanks omhper!). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, sweet fruits, spices, yeast and some caramel. Also some slight acidic fruityness. Flavour is fruits, wheatr, spices, some yeast and slightly earthy notes in background. Also slight acidicness. Very smooth weizen, which is refreshing at the same time it’s very full of pretty much everything I would like to have in a Weizen.

Bottled at Zur Frosch, Hof, Bavaria. Cloudy golden, creamy head. Restrained banana aroma. Sweet, soft and spritzy. Light-medium bodied. Rather light on esters, the malt profile is soft and gentle. Very drinkable and refreshing weizen - perfect for an afternoon in a biergarten.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Maria (9569) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 12, 2012
Mine is 5.5% and called Falter Weissbier Premium Gold. It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy head and the aroma has notes of banana, mild yeast and wheat. The sweet flavor has notes of spicy yeast (just the way I like it), banana, wheat and the finish is slightly dry and spicy. A very well-balanced beer.

Thanx omhper via oh6gdx! Bottled. Hazy yellow in colour. Foamy and creamy white head. The aroma is wheaty, sweet and compelling. The flavour is even better. Wheaty whit a sweetness AND a dryness to it. Great.

Bottled. Light golden coloured. Unclear. Frothy off white head. Sweet, light yeast and fruity aroma. Light spiced. Flavour is sweet and bananaish. Has light yeast notes and vague spice notes. A bit thin bodied. Light citric and fruity in the end.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MoritzF (7756) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 14, 2007
(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big, almost rocky and slightly yellow foamy head. Slightly sweet, moderately acidic wheat-malty aroma with rather strong spicy phenols (cloves, band aid) and a restrained fruit-character (ripe citrus fruits). Sweet and slightly sour flavour with a yeasty and slightly hoppy bitterness towards the finish. Yeasty, moderately wheaty and fruity taste with spicy phenols, that are pretty much in the foreground. Not perfectly rounded but still pretty drinkable and refreshing Weizen. Falter Hof is one of the few Franconian brewers, who have a long Hefeweizen tradition.
