Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee ith some roasted malt and coffee notes. Dry and roasted flavour with quite a bit of toffee and biscuit character - has a bit of maltiness from a Czech tmave, with the dryness of a Schwarzbier. Hoppy finish

Little head black. Light black smoked nose. Medium body and length. Light det body with a litlle det bitter chocko.

Draught at Fairbar, Århus
Dark brown color, almost black. Mild aroma of roasted malt, roasted nuts and cookies. Weak and dry mouthfeel, with roasted and black malt flavor, and light milky impression, that makes it taste a bit like a milk stout.

Tap @ Fairbar. Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, nuts. Taste is hard roasted malt, coffee, licorice, light spicy. Thin body, lively carbonation, dry finish. 270412

Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, liquorish and light ash. Flavour is roasted malt, dry, light ash, coffee and liquorish.

Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, dark malt, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120218]

Draught.Pitch black colour with medium head.Aroma of licorice,rosted malt,caramel and tosted bread,smooth and well balanced with light body and mild finish.

4.4%. Lakrids-Lange Jan aroma. Dark brown colour, almost black with a red shine. The flavour is roasted with some caramelly liquorice. Good bitterness.

Handbottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is breadish and dark toasted malt. Spiced, dark malty and roasted breadish. Light liqourice. Ends bitter and dark malty.

Handbottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Dedollewaitor. Pours a dark orangey brown with a small off-white head. Sweet nutty, coffeeish nose. Medium body, odd sweet roastiness, like cocoa powder or something with a sweet spicy edge. Really odd. Ends dry. 180212

Hand bottled. A brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of butter, malt, caramel, and a bit of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, caramel, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry nutty finish.
