3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 floydian1 (542) - FNQ, - SEP 12, 2011
650ml brown bottle (nicely packaged). Appears copper-amber with a good sized creamy-white head. I get none of the advertised vanilla or coconut aromas - just strong biscuity malts (like er......an Anzac biscuit!) and light hops. The palate is smooth and creamy but not rich providing good sessionability. It is not overly sweet. A decent ale but quite expensive for what you get.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jado (53) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2012
This really interesting beer needs a bit of care - in particular, don’t drink it too cold as it kills some of the more esoteric flavours. It pours a clear bronze with a dissipating off white head. Notes of spice and vanilla on the nose. The taste is initially a bit odd, with vanilla first followed by biscuit like malt. The surprise comes later when more complex flavours of fruit, ginger, spices and grains come through. Definitely not an everyday quaffer, more an after dinner sipper. Still a change from the everyday.

Short head on a clear copper body. Vanilla on the nose with some light biscuity notes in the taste. A bit boring really.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Davros (1024) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 28, 2011
Pours dark amber with a large, quickly fading head.
Nose shows vanilla, oatmeal and to a lesser extent, coconut. Also some caramel.
Same story with the flavours, followed up with a mild/plain bitterness.
Could use more carbonation, it’s pretty low.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ndon (857) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2011
On tap at GABS, the Local Taphouse in Sydney. Now this was a pretty cool beer! Pours a clear copper, no real head to speak of. Aromas of toffee, dough, vanilla and oats. Flavour is vanilla, oats, honey and toffee. It is an ANZAC bickie in a glass! Far too sickly sweet for a full pint for me, but was different and good.

On tap. Interesting. Aromas of nuts, caramel, and creamy soda. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness. Palate is oily, with medium body. Orange, with quickly disappearing head.
