Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy biyyet nice flavor. Chocolate and week vanilla notes. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Ap: dark, dark brown almost black colored body, 1 cm stouthy crème brown head

Clear very dark brown with a lasting brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and rum. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. 071211

Bottle from plovmand, thanks. Hazy dark brown body with a medium light brown head. Aroma is smoke, coffee, spices, light chocolate notes, oak, roasted malt. Flavor is sweet, coffee, oak, alcohol, spices. Nice lacings.

Botella. Dee dark brown colour. Nice beige ehad. Pleasant soft roasty malty rum like spiced aroma. Good mouthfeel. Good soft roasty malty dark fruity rum like sweet spice like flavour, smooth, very nice.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2011 Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. It’s an unclear, brown beer topped by a decent sized light beige head. Roasted malts, oak, vanilla, chocolate and a touch of alcohol on the nose. Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee, oak, some vanilla hints and a nice hoppy bitterness in the flavor. Some resiny hints. Full-bodied, warming and dry. Ummm, nice... Rating: 7-3-7-4-15-3.6. 110527
Bottle. It pours a clear-looking dark brown body and a dense, beige head leaving some lacings. Rather roasted nose, with a pleasant rum scent and some notes of alcohol. Sweetness, roasted malts, dark rum and some spicyness in the flavor. Licorice too. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting finish with lots of pleasant dark rum and some dark sugars. Well, not your average Christmas beer, not in my book at least, but a damn fine one anyway. 110819
