Hazy amber, thick offwhite head. Fruity hops, some pine and dark caramely malt aroma. Flavour starts off alcoholic and has piercing bitterness following immediately. Some sweetness to balance. Almost chewie mouthfeel with rough bitterness cutting my palate. Overall impression is somewhat tough and brutal, still very drinkable. Very good.

Mørk gylden med medium høyde på skummet. Aroma av malt, humle, furu og grapefrukt. Smaken er passe bitter, med bra med malt i bakgrunnen. Grapefrukt og furu. Søt og bitter. God bitter ettersmak. Medium/tykk konsistens.

33 cl bottle from Kvadrat. Pours a deep hazy golden body with a fingerthick tanned head that leaves dense lacing on the glass wall. Nose is resiny, salty sprucy and with sweet honey, malty notes underneath. Pungent and full bodied with a lasting alco warmth. Malt sweetness, and lasting resin bitterness. A hint of green apples. I might have kept this for too long, although it’s pretty good to drink, I had hoped for more hop aromas.

Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Piney, but also a bit musty-ryeish, hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, some marmalade. Hoppy bitterness with "a fresh bite". Slightly alcoholic finish. At least lacks typical Danish "berries" side flavors. Ok.

Bottle at home. The colour is amber and is hazy, and has a small yellow-white head. Fruity aroma of grapefruit, caramel, flowers and some pine. Lots of grassy hops in the flavour and some wood. Soft and rich mouth feel, and has a medium to heavy bitterness. A very hoppy ale despite it expired 7-2013, and tasteful.

330ml bottle carried back home from Vinmonopolet Vika. Cloudy dark orange coloured body. Firm frothy, off-white head. Spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of citrus hops presenting grapefruit to the fore and with earthy malt behind. Fruit hoppy taste, including grapefruit, mango and orange supported by smooth, underlying malty sweetness. Dry bitter citrus shells to a long-lived, rounded ending. Full bodied and well balanced. Excellent dipa (Tromsø 06.09.2013).

Big offwhite head. Hazy amber body with big floating lumps in it. Resiny tropical fruit and malty raisins aroma with strawy cat’s pee notes. Dry-sweet malty caramelly taste with strawy salty resiny notes. Mid-to-full body. Chewy, soft, fluffy mouthfeel. Dryish raisiny biscuit aftertaste with resiny strawy tropical fruit notes. Light funky notes. Nice and drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)
