Bottle. A hazy, orange-golden one, topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is very hoppy, with pine cones and resin, some grapefruit, and sweetish malts. Some way too sweetish notes. A touch of alcohol too. It’s bitter, with some underlying sweetness from the malts. Grapefruit, pine cones, some pale malts. Full body, some alcohol warmth, soft and pleasant carbonation. Lasting bitter finish with some malty sweetness. Well, it’s actually too bitter, but it’s sure a fine brew. 130430

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy amber with a lot of sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is lemon juice, grapefruit, and caramel. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a bitter finish.

Bottle from Fanø bryghus. Bought as kunstner øl no. 5. Pours deep slightly hazy orange. With a small white head. Aroma: quite mellow, a lot of fruity sweetness along with some malty sweetness, you get some orange peel and peachey notes as well. But quite muted aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, almost a bit fatty. Taste: quite heavy malty sweetness, caramel, golden syrup, some resin and plenty of grapefruit, orange peel, peach, and citrus notes. Grassy notes, ends with a malty sweetness which is replaced by dry bitter grape fruit notes. clove. Would have liked to try this when fresher.

Bottle. Pours deep amber, off-white head and is hazy with grains of hops and yeast. Aroma has loads of hops, citrus and grapefruit, also lots of red grapefruit. Palate is smooth, medium carbonation and full body. Taste is similar to aroma with red grapefruit being dominant. Aftertaste has great bitterness! Great hoppy goodness with a great crunch!
