Bottled. Pale amber, has a frothy head. Intense citrus and resin nose, sweet polleny notes, a hint of black currants. A whiff of caramel on the background. Very bitter, high in resins. Long lasting hop flavor. Caramel flavor in the finish but it is dry enough. Nice balance. Could bee slightly smoother, but overall it’s a great DIPA.

tiong (3610) - Espoo, FINLAND - JAN 12, 2013
330ml bottle (as Kunstner Øl No. 5) Pikkulintu, Helsinki

BBE 07/2013 - Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of gooseberries, caramel malts, toffee, fruits and hops. Taste is sweetish and malty with notes of aged hops, gooseberries, toffee and caramel. Finish is bitter and hoppy with notes of fruity hops and caramely malts. A bit too sweet DIPA that would probably be better from a fresh bottle.

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori as ” Kunstner Øl No.5”, BBE 07/2013
Aroma is rather sweet and heavy with exotic fruits and caramel. Flavour has exotic fruits, caramel, pineapple, gooseberry bush, some nettles and a boozy feeling with no stinging alcohol. Somewhat sticky palate. Decent.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 07/2013, at Pikkulintu, 20130106) The beer poured deep amber and a bit hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, grapefruit, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A very well balanced imperial IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, I get grapefruit, orange, peach, resin and pine, caramel, toffee and sweet malt. The flavor follows the nose but has that old hop tea leaf flavor, again grapefruit and orange, resin and pine with caramel and sweet malt. The body is medium with a dry mouth feel. Overall a tasty DIPA.
