Bottle. Dark brown with small brown head. Aroma sweet malts, dried fruits caramel sugar. Taste sweet malty, dried fruits, A very nice beer. I think this is the best danish quad I´ve had.

Fanø tap take over @ Dronning Louise. Pours cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel, fruity yeast, flower, dark fruit, raisin and alcohol. Flavour is roasted caramel, flower, alcohol, fruity yeast, raisin, plum and alcohol.

Bottle at DØE tasting. Hazy brown. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, fruity), medium hoppy. Flavor almost heavy sweet, medium bitter, fruity. Almost full body.

Rich sweet stodgy mashy aroma. Dark brown, small head settles to a ring. Some berries in aroma later. More berries in retronasals, but alas some alcohol and double alas some nail-varnish remover. Very much all over the place no coherence at all. Plenty of christmas spices contribute not necessarily positively to the experience. At least they’re mellow rather than dominant. Alcohol and acetone never even think of subsiding, and this really does get worse with every sip. Expect the one-sip tickers to give this a high score, but for those of us who are drinking whole bottles, this is a chore. Downward spiral of experience reflected by the scores in turn, which do looka bit wonky.

Bottle from Fanø Bryghus. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rich dried fruits, rich malt, nuts, licorice, notes of caramel and hops. Great one.

Bottle at konttori, tampere. Black, hint of red, small white head. Sweet malty aroma, malts, little alcohol. Sweet taste, licorice, smoke, little alcohol, yeast, rye bread. But nice and different.

Bottle. Pours unclear amber with a light lacing small tan frothy head. Aroma is prune, raisin, caramel, flowery hops, brown sugar, marzipan, spice, berries and øllebrød. Taste is near heavy sweet and light+ bitter. Body is near full, texture is light syrupy, carbonation is soft. Finish is very long with raisin caramel and warming alcohol. Goes down real easy.
