Tap (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Lovely fresh fruity saison aroma, herbal and floral. Slightly less impressive in the mouth, itís a little watery and with crisp carbonation. Refreshing. A little bit soapy bitterness in the finish. Hazy straw colour. Persistent tight white head. Very refreshing, and would be a perfect summer drink. Score varied - I bumped it up to 3.7 at times, and 3.4 seems like an underrate. I guess I was just a bit disappointed by the wateriness of the taste comared to the delicious aroma.

mjs (4277) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 24, 2013
(Draught at Oluttupa Viisi Penniš, 20130324) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sourness, tartness, spices, grapefruit and yeast. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were sourness, spiciness, tartness, fruitiness, grapefruit and bitterness. Aftertaste had grapefruit, sourness and bitterness. A quite lambic-like saison. I found this quite likeable.

Pours clear light yellow with a tiny head. Aroma of funky tart fruitness, bretta and yeasty notes. Taste is juicy, slightly funky and tart fruity with bretta notes, hints of hops and yeast. Finish is smooth, mildly hoppy and funky. Easy going, sessionable and juicy saison with a touch of bretta.

Keg @Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Golden pour with a medium off white head.with creamy. Over riding yeasty, spicy, fruity, citrus aroma/taste. Overall palate is mix of sweet/dry with a slightly spicy bitter finish. Not a massive fan of saison overall, but i found this impressive

Hazy grassy orange 1 finger creamy white head Nose is peppery and a hint of Brett Taste is loaded with pepper, cloves and a bit of licorice. Nice dry orange wheat taste. Sort of medicinal though

Svesse (5862) - Hšsselby, SWEDEN - FEB 1, 2013
(Draught at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, 25 Jan 2013) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with citrus, grass, earthy hops and yeasty saison aromas. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, peaches, grass, spicy hops and yeast. Medium body, quite dry, with a spicy bitterness. A bit weird, like a pale ale with saison yeast (which apparently is more or less what it is). Nice one.

Habanero (2151) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - JAN 21, 2013
Tap. Pours hazy, pale golden with a medium sized, white head leaving a fair lacing. Nose of yeast, fruit and brett. Quite a dry flavor that ends up slightly sour and with a litttle bitterness. Light to medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft CO2. An interesting brew.
