(Draught at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20130112) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grapefruit, spices, malts and yeast. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, grass, grapefruit, sourness, spices, yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sour, hoppy and bittern. Very tasty hoppy saison. A fuller body would have been nice.

On tap at Fairbar. It pours an unclear yellowish golden body and a big, white head. Lacings. The aroma is citrusy, lightly yeasty and with a light bretty touch. Some pale malts. Thin on the palate, as expected, with soft carbonation, and it’s quite dry. Citrus peel, pale malts, lemon juice notes and a nice touch from the Brett. Citrusy, bretty finish. A tasteful, quenching and pleasant beer that would fit perfectly as a summer beer. 121111

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2012
Tap at Mikkeller Bar. Hazy light golden with a, small white head, some lace. Spicy, herbal nose with notes of hay, grass and light fragant citric notes. Fresh and dry are words that spring to mind, describing the mouthfeel as well as the flavor. Light fruity, grassy, hayish, some spice, yeasty notes, watery texture, high drinkability, easy forgettable, but hey, that’s ok.

phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - SEP 30, 2012
Tap @ Mikkeller. Light orange pour with a white head. Aroma is dank hoppy, bright citrus, light estery notes with banana, a small rye hint along with a hint of funkiness. Taste is very refreshing - dry hoppiness up front, grassy and bright - slightly piney - very bitter on the palate. Dry, attenuated and bitter. A bit estery, but doesn’t provide much sweetness to the palate. A real thirst quencher. Also, Dr. Owl: you will never get this, you will never get this!!!!

The pour is a hazy golden color with a white head. Spice forward aroma of coriander and pepper. A bit of lemon zest, orange peel, and lots of straw and grass. A bit of cracker malt as well. The flavor is fairly dry. Coriander and pepper spice notes with grass, straw, and lemon zest. A mild tartness along with cracker malt flavor.
