Bottle at home. Pours a pitch black colour with a creamy, coffee-brown, medium head. The aroma is dominated by roasted tones with both sweet and dark chocolate, coffee, wood, lactose, nougat and some alcohol in the end. Very nice! More chocolate in the flavour at first, and then fading into a roasted and espresso-like finish that lingers. Incredibly soft and rich mouth feel, and has a medium bitterness. A wonderful and well-balanced imperial stout with a nice chocolate touch. A very pleasant beer experince.

Fad: Kulsort øl med et lækkert brunt cremet skumhoved. Stor duft af chokolade og en smule alkohol. Meget sød men også meget lækker. Glad for at have smagt denne lækkerbisken.

Bottle @ Kick mat & Malt. Black body with a small beige head. Nice aroma of dark malt, roasted coffee and a hint of liquorice. Flavor is sweet, dark, mild roasted malt, dry fruit, coffee, pine and quite bitter. I did not found much of the peat here, might have faded a bit as this was consumed December 2013? Fine body and lovely aftertaste. All I all a really nice and balanced imperial stout with pretty well hidden alcohol.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2013 33cl Bottle via Plovmand, thanks a bunch man! Pitch black, tiny brown head, pours literally like motor oil. Aroma is sweet, sugar, spirit, hard roasted malts, ash, lots of bitter chocolate, molasses, coffee, black liquorice. Flavour is sweet, thick, hard roasted malts, loads of chocolate, molasses, ash, coffee, berries, sugar, bitter roasted finish, liquorice, sticky. Really thick and fullbodied, fat mouthfeel.

Dark brown color, good brown head. Chocolate and cocoa in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweetish cocoa, chocolate, toasted malts, some hoppy notes. Covering alcohol well. Sticky mouthfeel. Excellent dessert impy. Certainly the best beer from this brewery.

MiP (13573) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2013
Bottle, 10.0%. Powerful roasted aroma, also very jammy. Black colour. Very big stable dark brown head. The flavour is very sweet, roasted with some jam and a mild piney hoppiness. Bitter chocolate flavour, but not very bitter considering the massive sweetness. The bitterness slowly creeps in after some sips. So not exactly balanced, but a very good beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and caramel. Creamy mouthfeel. Dark flavour of chocolate, caramel malt and roast, with regular fruity notes. Warming alcohol presence. Sweetish afteraste. Good. Really good.
