Bottled 330ml BB 06/2014 @Beer Hunters
Dark brown color, good brown head. Chocolate and cocoa in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweetish cocoa, chocolate, toasted malts, some hoppy notes. Covering alcohol well. Sticky mouthfeel. Excellent dessert impy. Certainly the best beer from this brewery.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle, 10.0%. Powerful roasted aroma, also very jammy. Black colour. Very big stable dark brown head. The flavour is very sweet, roasted with some jam and a mild piney hoppiness. Bitter chocolate flavour, but not very bitter considering the massive sweetness. The bitterness slowly creeps in after some sips. So not exactly balanced, but a very good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Dark brown colour.
Liquorice, milk chocolate, coffee and bit alcohol in aroma.
Taste is very sweet and milky. Chocolate, cocoa, cold coffee and liquorice. Again alcohol pushes through a bit. Too sweet for my taste.
Ending is much better, dry roastiness with dark chocolate and liquorice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle courtesy of idiot Pentaz. Pitch black and a generous pour generates a small ok lasting brown head. Fudge, vanilla, cocoa, bitter chocolate. Long, long taste with roasted notes taking over for a long finish with quite some bitterness. Very gentle and soft mouthfeel.

Color : pitch black / oil with a dark beige/brown creamy head
Aroma : chocolate, lactose, alcohol, dark malts and something that reminds me of soy sauce, salty
Taste and palate : Quite viscous and syrupy, sweet but not cloyingly sweet, chocolate, coffee, licorice, roasted malts, a bit salty, milk, alcohol
Finish : Long and bitter with delicious dark chocolate and licorice
A really great imperial stout.
