Draught @ Konttori, Tampere.
Pours a pitch black colour with a thick, creamy, off-white head. Rich aroma of roasted malts, strong floral hops and caramel. Flavour is rich as well with strong notes of roasted malts, chocolate, bread and a big amount of floral bitterness with pine needles. Full bodied, rich mouthfeel and a rich bitter finish. Excellent stuff, I’d drink this any day.

Tap at Birreria Paradiso Georgetown. Deep thick brown black. Massive steady rusty beige head. Big chocolate caramel aroma. Massive, rich, roasty chocolate.stout, this is great. Big cocoa notes. Really nice in that it isn’t overbearing, this is way more desirable to drink than an Imperial Stout. No booze even with the formidable ABV. A complete pleasure. World Class.

Tap. Pour is black with a thick creamy brown head. Aroma and flavor loaded with roasted coffee malt, light pine hop, and faint ash. The hops bleed through a bit more as it warms. Not complicated, but well executed.

Chopp. Black colour with a medium nice steady creamy light brown head. Pleasant aroma indeed of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and some dark fruit. Good mouthfeel indeed. Flavour of well roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits and a great pleasant bitterness, well lasting. Yum!

Tap (William IV, Leyton)
Lovely hoppy aroma, fruity and piney. Smooth and full, but some crispness from carbonation. Lovely mellow burntness, no astringency. A lovely rich finish, burntness with a nice bitter bite too. No sign of 7.5% - love it!
