From tap at Esbjerg beer festival and draught at the brewery. Pours a black colur with a nice light brown well lasting head leaving a god lacing. Pleasanr aroma of roasted malt and coffeee with spices (plenty of cinnamon). Good filling smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has a goodsoft roasty maltiness with coffee, spices, some chocolate, dark fruits and a pleasant soft sweet roasty spiced coffee finish. Great brew!

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 22-10-09. Nice spicy nose to this with also some light coffee touches. Really very christmassy in flavour with spices really on show. We were guessing around the table and noted correctly that there was some star anise in this. Some bitter honey tastes also show, its a nice Christmas brew that poured dark brown with a tan head. Tap @ Ølfestival, Esbjerg, 2009.
Pours completely black with an impressive, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma is sweet with notes of coffee, sweet roasted malts and a lovely dose of Christmas-y spices (especially cinnamon). Medium carbonation, lovely creamy palate. Super Christmas-y flavour, lots of cinnamon (but never really too much), light coriander, super chocolate and lightly roasted. Really lovely!
