Bottle 7.5%. Pours dark brown with red highlights and a short, foamy tan head that lasts a little while. Aroma is fairly roasty with notes of coffee, seaweed, raisins and dark chocolate. Flavour is also pretty roasty but doesn’t have much dark fruit, otherwise much the same as the aroma with a little added grass and spice. Medium to full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and a lingering roasty, bitter finish. This is a perfectly acceptable Scandanavian porter that somehow manages to be both nice and easy to drink yet also a little boring. Quite sessionable all the same.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Dark chestnut brown pour with a thick and foamy lightly tanned head. Leaves some nice lacing and head stays for the duration. Smells like a winter warmer. Lots of roasted malts, big hit of chocolate and slight vanilla sweetness behind it all. Nice. Very cocoa like in the taste at first. Loads of thick, dark chocolate. Sweetness behind it with a nice combo of roasted malts and a touch of coffee. Very nice beer. Palate is full with low carbonation. Works very well. A little bit of heat from the alcohol shows itself right at the end but its nice. Very enjoyable beer

500ml bottle. Pours almost black, with a brown head. Spicy, heavily roasted aromas, coffee, caramel, tar, quite spicy and complex. Semi-sweet, fullbodied, medium bitterness, creamy CO2. Heavily roasted taste, the coffee underlines that, chocolate, spices, vanilla, tar, faintly smokey. Finishes quite dry, with a lingering spiciness. (2012-03-04)

[Thanks to fonefan]. Black colour with a frothy, creamy, large and smooth head, with a good lacing and medium lasting. Aroma has strong toasted malts and notes and licorice. Flavour has licorice, toast and roast malts, with light smoky hints and wood and coffee notes. The final is moderate bittery with a optimal duration. Carbonation is soft. Body is medium. Texture is oily.

Very dark reddish brown, like black in the glass. Head is ok. Roasted ale’s, coffee chocolade pretty good moderated and mixed together. Not special, but decent.

Dark hazy brown body and a off-white small creamy head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, coriander, raisins. Creamy full body. The taste is medium sweet and has a light bitter finish. Some light sourness as well.

Alla spina al Beershock di Viterbo. Scura, schiuma poco persistente, al naso note di cacao e cannella, corpo robusto, finale amaro persistente. Perfettamente in stile, da provare sicuramente.
